A Song That Grows As A Novelty![]()
First off, I gave this song 4-stars because nobody else has yet done so. But anyways, when I first heard this song in full, I wasn’t impressed, and the MacBook commercial seemed to get the best part of the song. I mean the song was original, different, and a throwback to who knows when, but it just wasn’t that impressive. Well, I am now sad to say, my opinion hasn’t changed much, however this is the type of song that grows on you. So at first you may hate it, then you’ll think it’s OK, then you’ll like it, then you might love it.
The song has a real novel quality, in that it’s a novelty. It’s not going to win Grammy’s, but it’s fun. I really started loving it when me and my family found ourselves singing along with the ‘la la la la’ part. However, the song is great for the first two minutes or so, then it starts falling apart, going off in weird and strange directions. So like most Peter Jackson movies, this song needed to go back to the editing room. Sure 2-minutes isn’t very long, but when your peak is a MacBook commercial, you can shorten the song a bit.
So overall, you might love it, you might hate it. It’s a strange and different song that may be far from perfect, but it has some very good elements to it. And that might just make the song worth buying…

LOVED IT!!!!!!!!5
I didn’t see it in the movie theater, I decided to wait until it came out on DVD. I decided to purchase it because my nephew said I would like it, and he was right. However, if you are a dog lover like I am, you Will cry when Will Smith has to put the dog down (I did). This movie was long, but it keeps you on edge. Both endings are GREAT, I see why the kept the ending in the theater and it makes sense, I will not give too much info on this. This was a great film, Will Smith was great, his best performance I have to say. You will not be disappointment at all.
Great Acting, Lousy Premise2
I greatly enjoyed Will Smith’s acting in this movie. He is a top-notch actor to begin with, and he turned in a fine performance.
Yet the special effects seem a bit warmed over. Had I not seen the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, I may have enjoyed them, but it seems Gollum from the movie adaptation of Tolkien’s opus has been cloned and rewarmed. Perhaps they did this to save money, having blown more of the budget on the top-notch title character, Will Smith.
Of course if this is the case, I have to say I generally applaud the choice of a good actor/actress over whizz-bang SFX’s.
Mostly, I chafe under the tone of despair that this movie cast. It is difficult or impossible to adequately discuss my problems with this movie without spoiling it, so in respect for movie viewers, I conclude this point here by merely saying that I flat-out DO NOT RECOMMEND this movie. (Despite Smith’s believability, depth of character, and ability to get us to care about his character.)
Furthermore, don’t get me started on the extra features! If you think the MOVIE was dark, don’t even go to the extra features menu!!!
3rd time Legend 5
This movie was way better than I thought it would be. Will Smith put on some great acting in this film. Portraying the psyche of the last man on earth he did a great job. Trying to keep a routine to keep himself sane. Still holding out hope that there are people out there by going to the dock everyday and broadcasting a message over the air. The movie really paid attention to detail. The second storyline about his family fit too and even the darkstalkers were portrayed well. I was expecting a zombie type movie but this was not the case. I have not seen the previous two versions but I venture to say that they could not have been better than this one.

Downloaded to HD Tivo; Aspect ratio was loused up, unwatchable![]()
It wouldn’t seem so hard to get the aspect ratio right, but that wasn’t the case this time and the result was unwatchable. Now I’m wary of downloading video from Amazon. At least this video was free, so I didn’t have to go trying to get my money back.
Want to see more![]()
As with most bikini vids, the shots are too fast-paced to get a good look at anything. The music was great.
Free? Nothing is “Free”![]()
Nothing is free, all these ads offer for “FREE”, You’ve got to be kidding me!When you have to buy something to get something it is definately not free!Come on People!
